She was a native of Milltown, KY and a resident of Columbia, KY, at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late U.L. & Bertha Mae Pollard Rogers and the widow of Porter Conover. She was a woman of remarkable poise and beauty who graced the community for a period just 10 days short of one century. She was a member of Columbia Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was the widow of Porter Conover who preceded her in death on July 8, 1979, preceded by one son William "Billy" Porter Conover, Jr. on February 27, 2004 and by two brothers: J.C.
