High School Basketball to host Throwback Night ACHS Regional basketball Champions 1992 Girls team, 1954 & 55 Boys, and 1995 teams will be honored in half times of games with Russell County Girls and Boys teams on Fri 13 Feb 2015, at the Adair County High School Gymnasium, 526 Indian Drive, Columbia, KY. Click on headline for complete story By Shamarie Claiborne You won’t want to miss this special night honoring 4 decades old Regional Championship Teams that played in the Old Adair County High School Gym all in one evening. The Adair County Indians and Lady Indians will take on Russell County with tip-off for the girls game at 5:30pm, Friday, February 13, 2015 at the Adair County High School Gym, 526 Indian Drive, Columbia, KY. The rest of the evenings events will follow. Please join ACHS that night as we honor the 1992 Girls 5th Region Tournament Champions at Halftime of the Girls game. The 1995 Boys 5th Region Champion basketball team will celebrate their 20th reunion and be honored in between the girls and boys game. At halftime of the boys game the 1954 & 1955 6th Region Champions will celebrate their 60th and 61st reunion and be honored. We hope to bring a full crowd to cheer on the Indian and Lady Indian basketball teams, as well as honor 4 teams that won regional championships over two plus decades ago. Tip off for the girls game will be at 5:30 pm with the rest of the evening’s events to follow.
