Call received from Mr. Reed at 4:52amCT, TUESDAY, 27 January 2015!.> Sudden downfall of Snow has caused cancelations in: ADAIR, CASEY, CLINTON, CUMBERLAND, GREEN, METCALFE, and RUSSELL COUNTIES. Taylor County on 1 hour delay. Also: From Larry Smith, FM 92.7 The WAVE and FM 99.9 FM the BIG DAWG: NO SCHOOL TODAY in the CASEY, RUSSELL or MARION SCHOOL DISTRICTS. Also from Larry Smith: TAYLOR COUNTY on 1-Hour delay. Also from Rian Craft, Transportation Directior: CUMBERLAND COUNTY CLOSED. Received at 5:11amCT. I have personally checked many of our roads tonight and unless the situation deteriorates in the early morning hours school is on. Please be advised that, as always, our Transportation Director and I will be monitoring the road conditions carefully. Should anything change we will get the word out via our automated phone system and by Columbiamagazine.com.
