Sudden downfall of Snow has caused cancelations in: ADAIR, CASEY, CLINTON, CUMBERLAND, GREEN, METCALFE, and RUSSELL COUNTIES.

Taylor County on 1 hour delay.

Also: From Larry Smith, FM 92.7 The WAVE and FM 99.9 FM the BIG DAWG: NO SCHOOL TODAY in the CASEY, RUSSELL or MARION SCHOOL DISTRICTS.
Also from Larry Smith: TAYLOR COUNTY on 1-Hour delay.
Also from Rian Craft, Transportation Directior: CUMBERLAND COUNTY CLOSED. Received at 5:11amCT. "We've had a heavy snow in the last 30 minutes," Mr. Craft said.

At this time (letter received at 9:08pmCT, Mon 26 Jan 2015) we plan to have have school tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27, 2015. I have personally checked many of our roads tonight and unless the situation deteriorates in the early morning hours school is on. Please be advised that, as always, our Transportation Director and I will be monitoring the road conditions carefully. Should anything change we will get the word out via our automated phone system and by Columbiamagazine.com. We always try to officially notify the public by around 4:45 Central Time should we have to cancel classes. Unless you hear otherwise, school is a GO for tomorrow. - ALAN W. REED
