Maxine Rowe, Adair County, KY (1934-2014)

She was the matriarch of a distinguished Adair County family. She was a native of Adair County and a resident of the Clay Ridge Community in Adair County at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Ross & Minnie Banks Hubbard and he widow of Frank J. Rowe, who preceded her in death in 2010. She leaves 24 direct living descendants. She was a member of the Broadway Church of Christ in Campbellsville, KY & worked for several years at Col. William Casey and Green Hill Manor Nursing Home in Greensburg, KY.

Maxine Rowe age 80 years of the Clay Ridge Community of Adair County the Greensburg Road, Greensburg, KY passed away Friday, December 5, 2014 at 10:40amCT, at the Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN after several weeks illness.

Funeral service Sunday, December 7, 2014 at 2pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. Clergy officiating will be Ed Sterchi. Interment in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 4:30pmCT on Saturday at the funeral home.



Maxine Rowe, Adair County, KY (1934-2014)

She was born on July 18, 1934 in Columbia, KY. She was the daughter of the late Ross & Minnie Banks Hubbard. She died Friday, December 5, 2014, in Nashville, Davidson County, TN, at the age of 80 years, four months, and 18 days.

The widow of Frank J. Rowe who preceded her in death on August 4, 2010.

She was preceded in death by infant Teresa Ann Rowe. Also preceded in death by one brother & two sisters Louis Hubbard, Lois Hutchinson, and Martha Gaskins She is survived by the following:
  • Four sons: Richard Rowe of Owensboro, KY; Gary, husband of Beverly Rowe of Bluffton, SC;; Michael, husband of Mary Ann Rowe of Brentwood, TN; and Mark, husband of JillRowe of Chapel Hill, TN.

  • One sister: Alma (Simpson) Keltner

  • Ten grandchildren: Amy Jackson, Lisa Dunsmore, Jonathan Rowe, Jennifer McCall, Matthew Rowe, Jessica Bazaco, Rebecca Rowe, Laura Dickerson, Katie Hook and Nathan Rowe

  • Ten great grandchildren

  • Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends
She was a member of the Broadway Church of Christ in Campbellsville, KY & worked for several years at Col. William Casey and Green Hill Manor Nursing Home in Greensburg, KY
