Charlie Wheeler operated little store on Campbellville Street Columbia art store was a retirement business, after his years running a country store on 704 near present site of Hadley's Community Church Click on headline for complete story with photo(s) By Mike Watson Adair County Historian Charlie Wheeler and wife, Mary, and son, Steve, moved to Columbia in the late 1960s. He had operated a county store on 704 near the present site of Hadley's Church, later operated by Gilbert and Inis Harvey Smith. In retirement, Mr. Wheeler operated a small shop on Campbellsville Street, left hand side as you exit the Square. I would like to know if anyone remembers the carved busts on the table and if they are still around Adair County. Interesting artifacts. - Mike Watson Comments re photo 57648 Charlie Wheeler at little shop on Campbellsville Street 1970s This story was posted on 2014-11-19 11:37:25
