1st Round of NAIA Football Championship Series in Columbia History is being made. It is the first-postseason berth in Lindsey Wilson program history. Game time for No. 6 Lindsey Wilson Blue Raiders vs. No. 11 Faulkner (AL) Eagles. at Blue Raider Stadium, 928 Russell Road, on Saturday, November 22, 2014, will be announced later. By Charlie Balcom News from Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY - The sixth-ranked Lindsey Wilson College football team hosts No. 11 Faulkner (Ala.) on Saturday, Nov. 22, as the NAIA Football Championship Series First Round pairings have been released by the NAIA. The contest is a rematch of the regular-season meeting between the two teams, won by Faulkner 28-21 in Montgomery, Alabama. The Blue Raiders (9-2, 6-0 Mid-South Conference East Division) earned their postseason spot after winning the MSC East title with a 35-28 win over Georgetown (KY) on Saturday. It is the first-postseason berth in Lindsey Wilson program history. The Blue Raiders are the lone newcomers this season to the FCS field. Faulkner (9-2, 4-1 Mid-South Conference West) earned their postseason spot after receiving an at-large bid. Lindsey Wilson and Faulkner are just two of four teams from the Mid-South Conference to qualify for the NAIA Championship Series. Fellow MSC East member No. 10 Georgetown travels to No. 7 Marian (IN) while MSC West member No. 17 Campbellsville (KY) travels to No. 3 Saint Xavier (IL).
