ADAIR Band: Quest for 21st KMEA AAA State Title - 1 Nov 2014 At 7:22amCT, Shamarie said that the AWESOME ADAIR CONVOY was rolling for Paris, KY from the Band Room. "It's snowing . . . we're in a crazy mood . . . and ready to roll . . . wave to us we pass by. " - SHAMARIE. Fans asked to cheer them along their way from band building, along bypass to Burkeville Road, and around Walmart area early Saturday morning . . . cheer them at Bourbon County High . . . and and, hopefully at the State Championship at Roy Kidd Stadium at Eastern Kentucky University. The band will be returning to Columbia on Saturday night. Shamarie asks prayers for their safety and success, and will be keeping everyone informed of their progress. Click on headline for complete story By Shamarie Claiborne News from the ADAIR Band Saturday morning, November 1, 2014 at 7:10amCT the ADAIR Band will be departing the Raymond Lacy Music Building, 230 Gen. John Adair Drive, Columbia, KY to attempt to capture their 21st KMEA AAA State Title. They will be traveling the by-pass to Walmart then onto the Louie B. Nunn Parkway east towards Somerset to compete in the KMEA AAA Semi-finals being held at Bourbon County High School, 3341 Lexington Road, Paris, Kentucky, where they will be competing against 15 of the state's top AAA bands to try and secure one of the top 4 placements to advance into finals later in the night at Eastern Kentucky University at the Roy Kidd Stadium, 521 Lancaster Avenue, Richmond, KY. AAA Semi-finalist schedule with performance times include: - 10:00amCT/11:00amET - Hart CountyIf ADAIR is in one top four placements in AAA Semi-finals they will move on to the AAA State Finals that start at 7pmCT/08pmET -- ADAIR would perform at either 8 - 8:15 - 8:30 - 8:45 - (ET). Once we know the results from Semi-finals I will let everyone know. Please keep us all in your prayers for safe travels. The students have worked very hard this year - so if you want to give them a send off in the morning please be along the Bypass or along the Walmart area as they get on the parkway around 7:10amCT - Go ADAIR!
