POOLER, GA - The Lindsey Wilson women's golf team carded a two-day total 679 (334-345) to finish tied for 12th place at the NAIA Preview Tournament on Tuesday, October 28, 2014.

The Blue Raiders tied with Grand View (Iowa) at 103 strokes above par at the 6,010-yard Savannah Quarters Country Club, the location for the 2015 NAIA Women's Golf National Championship.

Cristina Jimenez led the Blue Raiders with a final round 4-over par 76 to finish tied for 12th place in the individual standings. Jimenez backed up her opening round 78 to finish at 10 over for the tournament.

Shayna Cockrill placed 59th after finishing with a two-day total 175 (86-89). Both Kayla Cordeiro (84-92) and Courtney Swindle (86-90) finished one stroke behind Cockrill in a tie for 60th place with a 176 at the tournament.

Amy Brown rounded out the Blue Raider squad in a tie for 77th place with a 186 (96-90). Brown's lone birdie on the day came on the par-4, 350-yard ninth hole.

Megan Kriz, competing as an individual, also finished tied for 60th place with Cordeiro and Swindle at 176. Kriz carded an 84 on the final day, trimming eight strokes off her opening round 92 and moving from 71st place up 11 spots. She birdied the par-4 second and the par-4 18th during the round.

The Blue Raiders saw tough competition at the tournament as six of the 16 teams were ranked in top 10 of the 2014 NAIA Women's Golf Postseason Poll last season.

Northwood's Elsa Westin led wire-to-wire to claim individual medalist honors at the event with a 6-under par 138 (66-72).
