The Adair County Fiscal Court at its regular meeting on 14 Oct 2014, unanimously approved Adair CJE Ann Melton's recommendation to re-appoint Richard Grant to another four year term as a trustee for the Adair County Hospital District, ending Sep 2018.

The action was taken on a Motion by Magistrate Sammy Baker (District 3), with a second by Daryl Flatt (2), with Magistrates Harold Burton (1), Perry Reeder (4), Billy Dean Coffey (5), Joe Rogers (6), and Billy Rowe (7), joining in the 7-0 vote.

CJE Ann Melton said that Mr. Grant had agreed to accept the re-appointment. He has been one of the key members guiding the turn-around of the institution, which in the last few weeks has been winning accolades from patients and media.

Mr. Grant is chairman of the board, the overseer of Westlake Regional Hospital and subsidiaries. Others on the board are Bruce White, Brad Keltner, and David Herbst. One seat remains vacant.
