News from the ACHS Football Team

The Adair County High School Football team had great anticipation as they ran onto the field to face their biggest rival, the Russell County Lakers. Prior to the Friday, 26 Oct 2014 game, the Indians had a winning 4-0 season but they knew facing the Lakers could be tough.

This was a huge game and a lot was at stake going in. Not only were they facing their rival team, it was Teacher Appreciation Night, and the chance for the winning team to receive the Rolling Wave Trophy from 92.7 The Wave.

The Indians were ready and prepared for this night, and all their hard work paid off as they beat the Lakers 40-19. The first time since 2002.

The Adair County Indians are now 5-0!!
