Two vehicle injury collision at Jacob Trail, Smith Ridge Road

One driver injured in rear end collision, treated at scene by CT EMS and taken to Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY, where she was treated and released.

From Taylor County Sheriff's Department

A two vehicle collision at the intersection of Smith Ridge Road and Jacob Trail resulted in injuries to one driver.

Marie Ratliff, 68, Campbellsville, KY, was traveling West on Smith Ridge Road in a 1993 Buick Regal and had stopped to turn left from Smith Ridge Road onto Jacobs Trail.




Diana Evans, 51, Campbellsville, KY, was also traveling West, in a 2001 Jeep, and topped a hill and could not stop before making contact withe the rear of the Ratliff vehicle.

Marie Ratliff was treated at the scene by Campbellsville-Taylor County EMS and transported to Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY, with a possible neck injury. She was treated and released by Taylor Regional Hospital.

The accident was investigated by TCSO Officer Dickie Benningfield.
