Carl "Big Man" Slaughter age 67 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green, KY.

Funeral service, Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 2pmCT, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 North Main Street, Burkesville, Kentucky with burial in Guthrie Chapel Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Tuesday, August, 26, 2014 from 10amCT, until the service time at 2pmCT, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.



Carl (Big Man) Slaughter, Burkesville, KY (1946-2014)


Carl Slaughter was born on September 08, 1946 in Metcalfe County, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Carl Lee Slaughter and Loretta Melton Slaughter. He died Sunday, August 24, 2014, in Bowling Green, Warren County, KY, at the age of 67 years, 11 months, and 16 days.

Survivors include:
  • Two Sisters: Delois Spears and her husband Carlyle of Franklin, Indiana, and Delene Jennings and her husband Sammie of Martinsville, Indiana

  • Two brothers: Archie Slaughter of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Gary Slaughter of Burkesville, Kentucky

  • Two aunts: Ina Ree Capps and Lois Melton both of Burkesville, Kentucky

  • and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins
