Prof. Goguen will lead photography workshop at Fall Festival By George Kolbenschlag A photo workshop led by Lindsey Wilson College Professor David Goguen will be featured at the Homeplace on Green River Fall Heritage Festival, 5807 New Columbia Road, Campbellsville, KY 42718. There will be two sessions 9amCT/10amET/11amCT/12pm noon ET, and another 12pm noon CT/1pmET-2pmCT/3pmET, Saturday, September 6, 2014, Homeplace asks for a $5 donation for parking, but there is no charge for the workshop or for many of the other activities at the Festival. Goguen is an experienced photography teacher and this will be his third year conducting a photo workshop at the Festival. The classes are informal and are tailored to both beginners and intermediate photographers. They include "classroom" time as well as time taking photos at Homeplace and critical review of those photos. Those attending should bring a digital camera. Complex single lens reflex cameras are not necessary - any digital camera will do. Those attending in past years give the workshop high marks. Reservations are encouraged and can be made by e-mailing Professor Goguen at goguend@lindsey.edu or calling him at 270-384-8241. The Homeplace Fall Festival is a family day including mule wagon and hay rides, a petting zoo, face painting, Kentucky arts and crafts demonstrations and sales, live music, trail hikes, food vendors and much more. Homeplace is a joint effort of Adair, Green and Taylor counties. The farm, first settled in 1804, is being restored and is known as Kentucky's Outdoor Classroom.
