Revisit Knifley Homecoming/Festival: 5K at 4 Way run

Plans are coming together, also, for a pancake breakfast children's pageant, Knifley History and Memorabilia Display, Gospel singing, a community lunch, children's activities, and an evening concert with fireworks.

The committee putting together the 5K at the 4 Way Run which will be one part of the September 6, 2014, "Revisit Knifley Homecoming & Festival" have finalized plans. The 5K registration will begin at 7pmCT, at Patterson's Bait and Grocery, 5855 Knifley Road, Knifley, KY.



As event details are completed, they will be posted on ColumbiaMagazine.com in news stories and events, as well as elsewhere.

Plans are coming together for a pancake breakfast children's pageant, Knifley History and Memorabilia Display, Gospel singing, a community lunch, children's activities, and an evening concert with fireworks.

The organizing committee is actively seeking vendors to participate in this event.

Anyone who might like to exhibit their crafts, products, program or club/organization is welcomed to participate.

Potential vendors may contact Gayla Baker at 270-789-0013.

Anyone that has items related to "old" Knifley or information about the history of the community is asked to assist with the historical display.

Persons may also contact Kathy Tucker at 270-634-1263 about the events.
