Lindsey Cycling finishes 24th overall at road nationals

Blue Raiders 13th in the men’s team time trial

RICHMOND, VA - Lindsey Wilson cycling earned 40 points to finish 24th overall at the 2014 CapTech USA Cycling Collegiate Road National Championships this weekend.



On Friday, Hannah Hayduk completed the women’s individual time trial in 53:46.92 to finish 16th. In the team time trials, the men’s team of Chris Tveter, David Novak, Justin Lowe and Travis Monroe combined for took a time of 43:18.80 to place 13th.

With a time of 1:18.23, Justin Lowe was 67th in the men’s criterium on Saturday.

The championships wrapped up Sunday with the road race. For the men, Lowe posted a time of 2:44.10 to place 47th, David Novak was 75th (2:06.49), Wyatt Myers was 85th (1:37.39), and Travis Monroe was 108th (1:13.08).

The Blue Raiders received 13 points in the women’s criterium, two points in the men’s road race and 25 in the men’s team time trial.
