LWC Community honors 21 at Senior Day

Ceremonies for basketball, cheer, and dance team

COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson College community honored 21 students who closed out their athletics careers Saturday afternoon, March 1, 2014, at Biggers Sports Center. Four members of the women's basketball team, six members of the men's basketball team, and 11 members of the cheerleading and dance teams were honored during Senior Day ceremonies.

The LWC women's basketball team lost their regular-season finale 92-84 to Shawnee State (Ohio) University, but LWC men's basketball team closed out its regular season with a 75-71 win over Shawnee State. - Duane Bonifer
