Indians Fall in overtime to Holy Cross, 53-56. Senior point guard Matt Fudge leads Indians with 16. Chance Melton and Ty Bennett have 12 each, and Hutchison 10, Hixson 5, Shelley 1 to round out Indian scoring

The Adair County Indians finished runner up in the Lindsey Wilson Classic for the second year in a row. The Indians dropped a hard fault overtime decision to Louisville Holy Cross 63-56. The loss dropped the Indians to 7-6 while Holy Cross improved to 9-3.



Holy Cross led 15-13 after one period and 31-30 at halftime. The Indians took their largest lead of the night 47-40 after three periods but the senior dominant Holy Cross squad battled back to tie the score 47-47. The game was close down the stretch with both teams having chances. After a Holy Cross miss at the end of regulation the Louisville squad went on an 8-1 run in overtime.

Senior point guard Matt Fudge led the Indians with 16 points including 4 treys. Chance Melton had another double double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Rounding out the scoring were Ty Bennett 12 includind 4 three's, Zach Hutchison 10, Jake Hixson 5, and Marshall Shelley 1. Fudge handed out 6 assists.
