Bro. Bill Davenport speaker at AYDC Veterans Day Event

Adair Youth Development Center had their annual Veteran's Day ceremony on Thursday, November 14, 2013. Bro. Bill Davenport spoke to residents and staff about his experiences.

The VFW Post 6097 members in attendance were as follows: Edgar Holmes, Johnie Biggs, Kenneth Scott, Orvis Grider, Curtis Hardwick, Bill Davenport, Joe Hare, Charles Green, and Dick Scholl.

AYDC veterans attending were as follows: Greg Burchett, Michael Mangum, Jason Bradshaw, Ryan McQueary, David Hare, Wayne Bigelow, and Bradley Jones. AYDC veterans not in attendance were Jeff Arms, Chris Gadberry, and Russell Hunt. All veterans were presented with a medallion from AYDC education staff and treated to lunch by AYDC staff. - Sue Buley
