Campbellsville police investigating report of sexual assault Information from Campbellsville, KY, 911 The Campbellsville Police Department today (Saturday September 7, 2013) responded to an alleged sexual assault. At approximately 7:30amET, Saturday September 7, 2013, the Campbellsville Police received a call from the resident of Campbellsville reporting a sexual assault. Officers Nelson Bishop and Ryan Jewell responded to the scene and initiated an investigation. The victim (32 years of age) was later transported to Taylor County Hospital by the Campbellsville Taylor County Emergency Medical Service for examination and treatment. Officers have identified a person of interest who has been questioned and trace evidence collected from their person. No charges have been placed - however the investigation being conducted by Officers N. Bishop and R. Jewell continues. This story was posted on 2013-09-07 16:13:23
