Janet M. Gadberry, 83, of Campground Rd., Russell Springs, died Friday, February 22, 2013 at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.

Funeral service for Janet M. Gadberry will be 12 Noon Monday, February 25, 2013 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Eugene Sneed officiating. Friends may call after 10amCT/11amET, Monday, February 25, 2013. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery. Special singing will be by Cheryl Posey.



Pallbearers: Chuck Gadberry, Bronson Gadberry, Brandon Gadberry, Cody Gadberry, Neil Collins, Jason Guffey, and Cameron Guffey.

She was born Tuesday, March 26, 1929 in Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Carlos and Elsie (Roy) Hopper. She died Friday, February 22, 2013 in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 83 years, 10 months, and 27 days.

She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Gadberry; a daughter, Pamela Kiser and a grandson, Blake Gadberry.

Survivors include the following:
  • Five children: Gregory (Linda) Gadberry, Somerset, KY; Michael Gadberry, Russell Springs, KY; Carla Thomas, Russell Springs, KY; Lisa (Neil) Collins, Russell Springs, KY, and Tammy (Jason) Guffey, Stanford, KY

  • Six grandchildren

  • Fourteen great grandchildren

  • One sister: Ferrell Hudson, Jamestown, KY

  • Three brothers: Donald (Shirley) Hopper, Russell Springs, KY; Jack (Sue) Hopper, Jamestown, KY; and Richard (Gayla) Hopper, Shelbyville, IN
