Cecilian Bank in Sonora, KY robbed. Thief escapes on foot

SONORA, KY - At 3:45pmET on January 15, 2013, an unidentified white male entered the Cecilian Bank branch in Sonora and handed a teller a note demanding cash. The teller complied, and the suspect left the bank on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.



He was not located in the area. He is identified as a white male, late teens to mid twenties, 5'9", thin build, with a brown to red mustache and beard. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded zip up jacket with a large Adidas logo on the back, dark blue jeans, brown hat, and brown gloves.

The KSP are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the suspect (photo attached). Should you have any information, please contact the Kentucky State Police Post in Elizabethtown at 270-766-5078. MTPR Norman Chaffins
