Seizing the moment: Average sunrise is less than 3 minutes

By Barbara Armitage

Last August we had a Blue Moon but this morning we had a Blue Sunrise at Tucker's Station. We feed the puppies at 6amCT every morning so I see a lot of colorful sunrises. This morning the view was special. The entire sky was a brilliant blue; the only clouds were low and to the east.

As the sun began to rise it cast a calming blue glow on everything. It was truly beautiful.

On average it takes less than 3 minutes for the sun to rise. See how fast the world can pass by if you're not paying attention. - Barbara Armitage
