Christmas in Columbia 2012: An Old Fashioned Christmas

Santa will arrive by Fire Truck at Holloway Wellness Center, Saturday, December 2, 2012. Adair County native and founder of Mr. "P" Trucking, Allan Parnell, will be the parade Grand Marshal

The 22nd Annual Columbia-Adair County Chamber of Commerce Christmas in Columbia Weekend will be Saturday-Sunday, December 1-2, 2012.

An Old Fashioned Christmas Information for Parade Contestants

The parade will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2012, rain date December 8, 2012, at 6pmCT, with lineup starting at 4:30pmCT. Judging of floats will begin at 4:45pmCT. All entries will be judged in advance of parade start. Deadline to register is Wednesday, November 28, 2012. There is no fee charged for entering. No four-wheelers allowed.

Prizes:
  • Float Division, In County: 1st Place $300; 2nd Place $200; 3rd Place $100
  • Non-Float Division, In County: 1st Place $100; 2nd Place $75; 3rd Place $50
  • Float Division Out-of-County: 1st Place, $300; 2nd Place $200
