News from the Adair Youth Development Center

Mr. Dwan Hadley came to the Adair Youth Development Center (AYDC) on on Friday, November 16, 2012, to speak to students about the dangers and consequences of drugs and drug abuse as well as his experience in adult corrections and life after prison.

Mr. Hadley's presentation centered on how every choice about drugs that is made will affect anyone's life at one point or another. Our students were actively engaged from the start of the presentation. Mr. Hadley ended with a question and answer segment, which students were very grateful for and asked many questions about the effects of drugs and drug abuse. - John Walker, Social Studies, Teacher, AYDC
