WEATHER for today from National Weather Service:
Hazardous Weather Special Weather Statement issue at 454 AM EST THU NOV 8 2012 "...PATCHY DENSE FOG DEVELOPING ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN INDIANA AND CENTRAL KENTUCKY... AUTOMATED OBSERVING STATIONS AS WELL AS A FEW AREA WEBCAMS INDICATE SOME PATCHY DENSE FOG DEVELOPING OVER THE REGION EARLY THIS MORNING. VISIBILITY CAN BE REDUCED TO BELOW ONE MILE WITHIN SHORT DISTANCES. CANNOT RULE OUT A FEW ISOLATED SLICK SPOTS ON AREA ROADWAYS FOR OUTLYING LOCATIONS...WHERE FOG FORMS WITH AIR TEMPERATURES DIPPING BELOW THE FREEZING MARK. FOG SHOULD BEGIN TO DISSIPATE SHORTLY AFTER SUNRISE. WHEN ENCOUNTERING THESE PATCHES OF DENSE FOG WHILE DRIVING...SLOW DOWN...USE YOUR LOW-BEAM HEADLIGHTS...AND KEEP PLENTY OF DISTANCE BETWEEN YOU AND SURROUNDING TRAFFIC."
