After Lindsey Wilson (3-7, 1-4 in the MSC West) grabbed an early 3-0 lead on Mark Corbett's 26-yard field goal, the Wildcats (7-3, 5-0) scored the next 21 points to seize control of the Mid-South Conference West Division tilt. Bethel used a balance offensive attack throughout the game as the Wildcats ended with 336 rushing yards and 294 passing yards. Bethel's Wil Masoud proved to be the catalyst in the win as he threw for 221 yards and touchdown while running for 69 yards and a score. Raquis Hale added 109 rushing yards for the Wildcats. Lindsey Wilson's Josh Haney rushed for 89 yards to lead the Blue Raider ground attack while Branden Cresap -- who surpassed 5,000 career passing yards during the game -- finished 24-for-35 through the air for 145 yards.
