Lindsey Wilson Volleyball wins two at MSC Crossover Blue Raider Volleyball hosts Brescia at Biggers Sports Center By Chris Wells News from Lindsey Wilson College PORTSMOUTH, OHIO - The Lindsey Wilson College volleyball team completed a perfect weekend Saturday, October 20, 2012 with a pair of wins at the Mid-South Conference Crossover hosted by Shawnee State (Portsmouth, Ohio) University. The Blue Raiders (20-8, 10-2 in the MSC) beat University of Rio Grande (Rio Grande, OH) to open Saturday's play and closed with a sweep over host Shawnee State. With a win over University of Pikeville (Pikeville, KY.) on Friday, Lindsey Wilson swept its three matches this weekend in Portsmouth. A trio of Blue Raiders notched double-digit kills and Andrea Taylor produced a double-double in Lindsey Wilson's 25-16, 25-18, 20-25, 25-12 win over Rio Grande. Taylor finished with 53 assists and 10 digs in the win. Courtney Doyle added a team-high 19 kills while Kailey Moorhead and Sarah Anderson supplied 14 and 13 kills respectively. Taylor added a second double-double to her day in the Blue Raiders' 29-27, 25-17, 25-21 win over Shawnee State. The Louisville senior setter finished with 35 assists and 11 digs to send Lindsey Wilson to its fifth straight win. With today's wins, Lindsey Wilson moves into second place alone in the MSC standings behind leader Georgetown (Georgetown, KY) College.
