LWC Women's Golf 6 Strokes off lead at Collegiate Invitational Kelsey Joslyn, Jennifer MacKinnon, lead team at Rome, Georgia News from Lindsey Wilson College ROME, Ga. - Behind consistent play from its top-two seeds, Kelsey Joslyn and Jennifer MacKinnon, the Lindsey Wilson College women's golf team is in second place, just six strokes off the lead, after day one of the Collegiate Invitational hosted by Berry College on Monday at Coosa Golf Club. Joslyn is the team leader, firing a 76 (39-37) which is good for fourth place overall. MacKinnon is just one stroke behind with a 77 (39-38) to tie for fifth place individually. As a team, the Blue Raiders turned in a 319-stroke total with its top four scores, while Cumberlands (Ky.) sits atop the leader board with a 313 as it had three golfers score in the 70's. Shorter (Ga.) challenges just behind Lindsey Wilson with a 320 to take sole possession of third place. After MacKinnon the score drop off for the Blue Raiders as Candace Stacy in a tie for 24th place is next on the list with an 82 (41-41). Tied for 37th place, Sara Kiozumi was the final Lindsey Wilson scorer, carding an 84 (43-41). Amy Brown finished just outside the top four with an 86 after shooting a 47 on the front nine holes and 39 on the back to enter Tuesday's final round in a tie for 44th place. Coastal Georgia, which is in fifth place as a team, had the individual leader in Sarah Gilliard with a 74 (36-38). Joslyn finished the round tied for the most pars on the course with 14, while MacKinnon was in a tie for fourth with 11.
