LWC Women's Soccer hosts Campbellsville University News from Lindsey Wilson College PORTSMOUTH, OH - Laerke Lillelund Michaelsen scored a pair of goals to help the Lindsey Wilson College women's soccer team to a 4-0 win over host Shawnee State, Sunday, September 30, 2012, at Shawnee Turf. Michaelson scored in the 50th and 58th minutes to help the Blue Raiders (8-2-1, 5-0 in the Mid-South Conference) to their sixth straight win. Lindsey Wilson remains perfect in the MSC and stays atop the standings. Shawnee State falls to 3-7 overall and 0-3 in the MSC with the loss. Cecilia Ekstrand opened the scoring with the only goal in the first half. Ekstrand -- who has scored in three straight matches -- scored off a Natasha Gensetter assist in the 21st minute to give the Blue Raiders the 1-0 lead. Mia Persson added to the Blue Raiders lead in the first minute of the second half with her team-leading 10th goal of the season to push Lindsey Wilson's lead to 2-0. Michaelson took over from there scoring her fifth and sixth goals of the season en route to the win. The Blue Raiders dominated from start to finish out-shooting the Bears 28-3. Josephine Frigge stopped the only shot she faced in her 84 minutes of work in goal for the Blue Raiders. Loren Cerafice finished the game without facing a shot to complete the team shutout.
