Saturday, September 15, game at 7pmCT, in Blue Raider Stadium, 820 Hanley Lane, Columbia, KY, brings two of nation's top 25 NAIA football teams to Columbia, with No. 24 Lindsey Wilson facing No. 3 Georgetown College. By Dan Wilson Sports News from Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY - After two straight weekends on the winning side of the scoreboard, the Lindsey Wilson College football team jumps into the NAIA Football Coaches' Top-25 Poll for the first time in the regular season at No. 24, national office officials announced on Monday. The NAIA also releases a spring poll in April where the Blue Raiders appeared at No. 25, but Monday's leap to No. 24 marks the first time they will play as a ranked team. Saturday's 7 pmCT start at Blue Raider Stadium is now an NAIA Top-25 matchup as Georgetown (KY) crept up one spot to No. 3 in the latest rankings. Lindsey Wilson opened the 2012 season receiving votes in the national poll and lost its opening game in overtime at Kentucky Christian. Since then it has posted wins against Union (Ky.) and Pikeville (KY) to take the top spot in the Mid-South Conference West Division standings according to overall records.
