Larry Smith: Fogs never fail predicting future Larry Smith reports a beautiful commute to Radio Station FM 92.7 this morning, with absolutely no fog. He's kept a count: Six fogs so far this August. Already, he says, we are in for 3 significant snows - which, if they land on school days, will be school closers and David Jones won't let the busses roll. "And," he adds, "we're in for three 1-2" snows," just from the fogs we've had so far. He's relying on proven old timey orthodoxy - neither adding to or taking from the wisdom of his forefathers: You count the fogs in August, and that's how many snows you'll have the following winter. "It absolutely never fails," he says. This story was posted on 2012-08-20 05:37:56
