Just one slight but important clarification:

It is not taxpayers or even voting taxpayers.

It is only property owners who will be paying for the folly of a few. It is also only the property owners who continue to see increases so the various taxing boards can continue to give raises and continue spending at a time when most are happy just to have a job and haven't seen a raise in a number of years yet see the cost of living ( the real cost of living not the politically adjusted COL) rise every time they go to the grocery store or stop at a gas pump.
