Thinks other efforts might get better results than tax recall

John Ford writes:
Jon (Halsey), I agree and support your position all the way. I just think that your time would be better served to petition the government to have a peaceful demonstration on the square to which you could invite the media and some state officials or do any number of other things that could bring light upon the situation. Only then will things get done. I hope that I didn't give the wrong impression and imply that nothing should be done, it does my heart good to see the effort. I just think that even if you win...you lose. P.S. Is this an election year for state officials? If so I would bet money that someone in frankfort would just love to ride in here and save the day for all you taxpayers, or should I say voting taxpayers. Voting is the only leverage a taxpayer has and if you can't get any satisfaction then vote against them. - John Ford
