Chamber Events Scheduled for Labor Day Weekend The Columbia-Adair Co. Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a "Buy, Swap, Sell, & Trade Day" in Columbia on Labor day, Monday, September 3, 2012, and the Annual City-Wide Yard Sale on Friday, August 31, Saturday, September 1, and Monday, September 3, 2012. The Chamber is inviting anyone interested in joining in our seventh city-wide yard sale. The chamber will promote this event, so if you have a yard for a yard sale in the city limits of Columbia, invite friends and relatives to set up with you for these three days. There is no charge to anyone for promoting this event. On Monday, September 3, 2012, the chamber is sponsoring the "Buy, Swap, Sell, & Trade Day" on the public square, in consideration of the tourist holiday traffic. For this one-day event, spots will be "first come, first served." The event will start as early as 7:00 a.m., and will continue throughout the day. Outdoor display spots will be 15 feet wide and $25 per spot. There are a minimal number of concession spots with 110v and 220v electricity. Spots requiring electricity will be charged a $15-$25 extra fee. Concessions vendors must reserve spots if electricity is needed. All vendors must provide their own tables and chairs.
