KSP investigating fire on Ed Corbin Road, Columbia, KY

Property was a total loss

The Adair County Fire Department responded to a residential home fire on Tuesday night, May 22, 2012, at 395 Ed Corbin Road, Columbia, KY. Alarm time was 6:57pmCT. Upon firefighters arrival the house was engulfed in fire. The property was owned by Jamie Richards of Columbia and was a total loss. The fire is believed to have begun in the bedroom and the origin and cause of fire is under investigation by the KY State Police. There were 20 firemen on the scene for around 2 hours. - Donald Hare
