Larry Smith: Post office closures in area on hold

Larry Smith, 92.7 the WAVE radio, called this morning with good news for patrons of post offices threatened with closure in Adair, Taylor, and Marion Counties of South Central Kentucky.

"I will be broadcasting an interview with Lebanon Attorney Elmer George on news casts tomorrow in which Mr. George said that the Federal govenment has told him that the impending closures of Breeding, Cane Valley and Gradyville in Adair County; Mannsville in Taylor County, and Bradfordsville in Marion County, KY, have been put on hold."

"I interviewed him at his home in Lebanon, KY, last night (January 23, 2012), and will broadcast the interviews on the hour on Wednesday, January 25, 2012." Smith said that Attorney George is representing patrons of the post offices at no charge.
