A Story of Smokey: There is strong soul in old crippled friend

By Steve Scott

Well, if we are to share Smokey stories, this reveals his character.

Years back when Dan worked in Edmonton, Smokey went on a walk about during lunch hour.

Dan searched Downtown Edmonton to no avail.

Dan reported the missing dog to the police, with hopes of a phone call,

When Dan arrived home in Breeding, some 18 miles away, there on the porch sat Smokey.

There is a strong soul inside that old crippled friend. - Steve Scott
