Flags at half-staff for Spc. Mikayla A Bragg, Ft. Knox, KY soldier By Kerry Richardson and Terry Sebastian News from Governor Beshear's Communications Office FRANKFORT, KY - Gov. Steve Beshear has directed that flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 in honor of a Fort Knox soldier who died while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. According to the Department of Defense, Spc. Mikayla A. Bragg, 21, of Longview, Wash., died Dec. 21 in Khowst province, Afghanistan. She was assigned to the 201st Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Knox, KY. Private funeral services for Spc. Bragg were held on Saturday, January 7, 2012, at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington. Gov.
