Driver injured when pickup leaves roadway, strikes ditch By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY SPRINGFIELD, KY - Trooper Morris Farris is investigating a collision that occurred Wednesday, October 19, 2011, at 10pmET, four miles West of Springfield on KY 528. The collision occurred when a 2004 Ford pickup, operated by Terry C. Bishop, age 48, of Springfield, KY was traveling westbound on KY 528, ran off the left shoulder of the roadway and struck a ditch. Bishop was belted at the time of the collision and was transported to the Spring View Hospital, where he was treated and released. Trooper Farris was assisted at the scene by Trooper Fred Cornett and Washington County EMS.
