5th Annual Silent City Tour is Monday, October 24, 2011 It's always some of the best theater offered in Adair County. This year's program on the Pattesons, the Fraziers, the Hardins, a young Columbia teenager, a Spanish American War soldier, and a story of Pelham Branch told by Nathan Montgomery and the Pelham Brothers. By Ernestine Bennett Adair County Genealogical Librarian The 5th Annual Silent City Cemetery Tour will start at 5pmCT October 24, 2011, from the Adair County Public Library, 307 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY.This year's event will include glimpses into the lives of the Pattesons, the Fraziers, the Hardins, a young Columbia teenager, a Spanish American War soldier and his wife, and the exciting story of Pelham Branch told by Nathan Montgomery and the Pelham Brothers. We will also be handing out a special booklet that will contain all the past tours with pictures. Wear comfortable shoes, dress according to the weather,(rain usually doesn'tt cancel the event), and bring a flashlight. We will return to the library for refreshments and a time of conversation.
