Mayor Harris' Dream: President presents Dakota Meyer medal in Columbia, KY

But it was just a dream, he said.

Dakota Meyer's Congressional Medal of Honor is on every mind in Columbia, and no where more so than Mayor Mark D. Harris's.

"I had Dream," Mayor Harris said. "I dreamed President Obama called to say that he would be presenting the Medal in Columbia. I woke up in a panic thinking about what all the security we would have put have to put into place and all the protocol for the ceremony we'd have to have when the President would be here."

It was just a dream, however, Mayor Harris said.

It does give an indication about how much the huge story is on everybody's mind right now, especially in Adair and Green Counties.

The Medal of Honor is presented at the White House.
