Honored World War II Veteran celebrates 96th birthday

Rayburn Keltner sends word that honored Adair County World War II veteran (John) Raymond Keltner celebrated his 96th birthday on May 15, 2011. "He isn't doing as well as he once did," Rayburn Keltner writes, "But is very aware of his surroundings."

Thanks to Rayburn Keltner for the news. It reminded us of the wonderful men who served our country in that War, and other wars. There's now an entry in birthdays with "(1915)" after Mr. John Raymond Keltner's name, and for those who want to look back at the significant contribution this outstanding Adair County family has made to the service of our country, the listing is in the "K" section of Honorable listing of Adair Countians who have served in the Armed Services -EW
