Judge Weddle rules Rescue Property sale null and void

Adair Circuit Judge James G. Weddle has ruled the sale of the Adair Rescue Squad, Inc. Property to Preston Dean Pyles of Campbellsville, KY, as null and void and has order ordered that the property pass to Judy Vance as Receiver for the Adair County Rescue Squad.

In the order, entered August 31, 2009, Judge Weddle ordered that the $150,000 paid by Preston Dean Pyles be re-imbursed to Mr. Pyles, but, pursuant, ordered that the funds be paid to satisfy a garnishment from an order in Taylor Circuit Court and that the funds be paid to the Clerk of Taylor Circuit Court.

The action was brought in the case of Adair County Rescue Squad, Inc., the intervening petitioner, and Judy Vance, receiver for Adair County Rescue Squad, Inc., petitioner, vs. Marcia Roberts, Steve Foster, Rodney Brandenburg, Preston Dean Pyles, and Kimberly Pyles, respondents/intervening respondents.

In his order and judgment, Judge Weddle wrote, "This is a final judgment. There is no just reason for delay."
