Obituary: Ruby Barger, 96, formerly of Adair Co., KY Mrs. Barger was a member of the Second Christian Church, Columbia, KY, and of a large, respected family. She leaves 30 direct living descendants Ruby Barger, 96, formerly of Columbia, KY, died Thursday, September 3, 2009, at 3:58pm, at Bashford East Health Care in Louisville, KY. The funeral service will be Tuesday, September 8, 2009, at 12 noon CT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, with Rev. Donnie Walkup officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 4125 Johnson School RD, Columbia, KY, in the Gadberry-Fairplay Community of Adair County. Visitation will be after 11:00amCT, Tuesday, September 8, 2009. Ruby Barger (April 6, 1913 -September 3, 2009) She was born April 6, 1913, the daughter of the late Virgil and Minnie Mary Smith Taylor and died September 8, 2009, at the age of 96 years, 4 months, and 28 days. She was the widow of the late Jack "Jay" Barger and was a member of Second Christian Church, Columbia, KY. She is survived by the following:
