Adair girls bounce back with win at Clinton County

Ashley Goodin shot the low roiund of the day with a 43. Seniors Natalie Sneed (47), Natalie Curry (49), and Dea Brandon (52) helped round out the team score of 191. Rachel Phipps shot a 62 and Emilee Royse a 53.

Clinton was led by Courtney Starnes with a 45 Clinton finished with a team score of 205.



This puts Adair at 2 and 2 on the season.

Coach's Note: I was pleased with the win but I feel like we still have a better score in us. Natalie Curry stepped up big bettering her best score of the season with a 49. Once again Ashley Goodin played solid and defeated Clinton's #1 player by four strokes. Natalie Sneed and Dea Brandon both improved their scores by six strokes over Tuesday's round.Next up for the Adair County High School Girls will be Marion Co.on Tuesday, August 18, 2009.
