Obituary: Betty Lou Curry, Campbellsville, KY

Betty Lou Curry of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Asure Mings and Cora McDonald Mings, was born March 1, 1948, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 3:35 P.M., Thursday, June, 2009 in Campbellsville. Age: 61

The funeral service will be at 11:00amET, Saturday, June 6, 2009 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY by Bro. Dickie Rogers. Burial will be in Parrott-Turner-Dabney Addition to Brookside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pmET, Friday, June 5, 2009 at the funeral home.



She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Whites Ridge General Baptist Church.

She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom.

She united in marriage to James R. Curry June 29, 1974. He preceded her in death February 14, 2009.

She is survived by the following:
  • One brother and one sister-in-law, James and Abbie Mings of Campbellsville, Ky
  • Two nephews and one niece: Kevin Mings and Michael Mings of Campbellsville, KY; and Rhonda Burns of Princeton, KY

  • Two great-nieces and five great-nephews: Jaycee Mings, Sidney Mings, Ethan Mings, Drake Mings, and Zachary Mings of Campbellsville and many other relatives and friends
  • PALLBEARERS: Bill Epperson, Preston Forrest, Kevin Mings, Michael Mings, Bobby Roots, and Joe Watson.
