Contractor will have 80 working days to complete KY 80 Bridge Kentucky Transportation Cabinets District Eight Office Announces Temporary Road Closure in Adair County. Road 80 will be closed starting Tuesday, September 25, 2007 with traffic routed to LBN, across Green Hills Road, or out KY 55 By Stephanie Daffron The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will close KY 80 (Columbia-Russell Springs Road) at M.P. 13.5 in Adair County to through traffic beginning Tuesday, September 25, 2007. This closure will be necessary for replacement of a bridge over Russell Creek (located approximately 1.2 miles east of the southeast junction to KY 55). Traffic will be detoured using Green Hills Road KY 3491, Liberty Road KY 206, and Jamestown Road KY 55. Construction will be performed by Jones and Bourland, Inc. of Prestonsburg, Kentucky. The contractor has 80 working days to complete the project. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinets District Eight office advises traffic to use caution, reduce speed, and to expect delays.
