Obituary: Lillian Staton, 78, member First Baptist Church She was the beloved matriarch of a large Adair County family Lillian Staton, 78, Allen ST, Columbia, KY, died Monday, July 31, 2006, at 5:02am CT, at the Hospice Care Center at the Norton Pavilion in Louisville. The funeral service will be Saturday, August 5, 2006, at 1:00pm CT, at First Baptist Church, Burkesville ST, Columbia, KY, with Rev. Leon Lasley, Jr., officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Grissom Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, is in charge of arrangements. She was a daughter of the late J.C. and Clora Clark Shirley of Metcalfe County, the widow of George Kenneth Station, and a member of the First Baptist Church, Columbia, KY.
