Columbia-Adair County Economic Development Authority

The Columbia-Adair County Economic Development Authority Board will hold a regularly scheduled meeting at 8amCT on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at the Welcome and Development Center, 201 Burkesville Street, Columbia, KY.

Meeting Agenda:

  • Call to Order

  • Welcome Guests - Roll Call - Determination of Quorum

  • Opening Prayer & Pledge of Allegiance

  • Approval of Minutes of August 20, 2024 meeting.

  • Approval of Minutes of September 9, 2024 special called meeting.

  • Approval of Treasurer's Financial Reports/payment of bills as presented

  • Business
    1. KPDI 1 - Update on Utilities construction for build ready pad.
      Update on reimbursement requests
      Ask fiscal court to pass reimbursements to EDA upon receipt

    2. KPDI 2 - Status update on South side Water project.
      Update on South Access Road Entrance project.

    3. RDAPP - Presentation by Aaron Jones, Branch Manager, Office of State Grants, DLG

    4. Grant available to CACUD to extend sewer to Martin's Peterbilt

  • Other Business

  • Motion to Enter Executive Session (If necessary)
    Executive Session per KRS 61.810(g). Discussions between a public agency and a representative of a business entity and discussions concerning a specific proposal, if open discussions would jeopardize the siting, retention, expansion, or upgrading of the business.
  • Motion to Return to Regular Session

  • Motion to Adjourn
