City is working with small businesses From Mayor Pam Hoots The City of Columbia is working with local shop owners in an initiative to support "shopping local first". Shopping local supports the economy, and builds relationships. One idea is to find local food trucks and local personnel that have baking businesses that they could highlight in a special event at storefronts.
